A long lasting German-French family tradition
ARGRU- Bakery and confectionery in Alsace
ARGRU has been based in Erstein-Krafft in France for almost 30 years. It produces over 1.2 million bakery and confectionery products, including pretzels, doughnuts and various types of cake. Its main business consists of frozen products, which it sells worldwide by the pallet.
With over 250 employees, this family bakery is one of the largest producers of baked goods in the Alsace region.
Thanks to its many years of experience in both border countries, the company attaches great importance to the Franco-German tradition.
The name itself was carefully chosen: AR – stands for Armbruster. The company is the subsidiary of the Armbruster bakery in Schutterwald. GRU- stands for Grünberger, the second name of the managing director and co-founder, Mrs. Beate Armbruster-Grünberger.
