Transport logistics in Queis
I’ve been part of the team at Backshop for a little over four years now. I specialize in scheduling in transport logistics. My tasks include the entire transport management – from coordinating the delivery of goods to our customers to route planning. In addition, I take care of complaint and damage processing, checking and approving the invoices of our service providers as well as pallet management. My path to Backshop began through a good friend who also works in the company. He drew my attention to Backshop, just when I wanted to reorient myself professionally. I seized this opportunity and I am still very satisfied with my decision. What I particularly like about Backshop is the opportunity to work independently. I can make and take responsibility for my own professional decisions. In addition, there is the family and friendly atmosphere in the company. We are a great team, and this sense of community is not limited to my immediate environment, but also applies to the togetherness beyond the company locations. The corporate culture is characterized by cohesion and mutual support. We get along well and meet at eye level. This positive atmosphere extends beyond the normal staff and also includes the management. Fairness and friendship characterize our daily dealings. As a result, I enjoy going to work every morning. Reliability, team orientation and ideally foreign language skills are important for a successful job at Backshop, as we also operate on international markets. For example, we also supply parts of other European countries directly with trucks. Therefore, as part of my work in transport logistics, I have regular contact with service providers or freight forwarders in other languages. But international contact is also required in other areas of the company. For the shipment of containers to non-European countries, for example, you also often have to exchange information with customers, service providers or authorities from the respective destination country. A special highlight of my time at Backshop are the joint parties and celebrations, such as the summer parties and Christmas parties. These are lovingly organized by the colleagues and show how much we as employees appreciate these shared moments. Overall, my work at Backshop allows me to constantly develop myself and find innovative solutions in a team that works together across departmental boundaries. This experience reinforces my belief that my decision to come to Backshop was absolutely right.
