Joint venture with La Marca International Pte Ltd in Singapore
In a strategic move, we have expanded our international presence by establishing a joint venture with La Marca International Pte Ltd in Singapore. The new partnership, in which Backshop holds the majority stake, marks an important milestone in the international orientation of our company. Backshop Asia Pte Ltd, which was founded specifically for this purpose, officially started its operations on February 1, 2024 and has the following business address:

150 square meters of deep-freeze warehouse
As part of this expansion, a new office and deep-freeze warehouse were opened in Singapore. This location covers an area of about 150 square meters and offers a direct connection for 40-foot containers. The end-to-end cold chain ensures the first-class quality of the products and enables short delivery times.

La Marca, with a 20-year market presence in Singapore, brings extensive knowledge of the local market and an extensive network in the upscale hospitality industry. Backshop contributes extensive experience in distribution channels as well as a diverse range of products to meet the individual needs of customers.
