Successful EcoVadis assessment: a step in the right direction
This year, for the first time, we underwent a comprehensive sustainability assessment by EcoVadis to put our commitment to the environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainability to the test. The EcoVadis assessment is a recognized standard for measuring the sustainability performance of companies and also takes into account compliance with the LKSG standards (Supply Chain Sustainability Act).

Backshop Tiefkühl GmbH recently launched the burger mix box called “BAM BOX”, which is intended to sustainably enhance the out-of-home market. This exclusive box consists of 8 high-quality premium burger buns with linseed and 8 plant-based patties made from New Meat, an animal-free product from the well-known food tech company Redefine Meat.
